Here, you will find beautiful teak woodwork with exposed beams keeping the nautical theme of the boat throughout.
The Captain/Guest has no need to go below to use the head or taking a shower. There is a separate, full size shower and hidden head in-suite for the Captain or guests use.
A MECHANICS FANTASY
Dropping down a set of stairs next to the entryway into the boat, is the stand-up and walk-around engine room. The engine room was designed to make maintenance easy and safe and is a repairman's fondest dream. Everything is labeled and easy to access. Oil changes are made easy with an oil change pump and system plumbed into the engines.
Inside the engine room sits two 6-cylinder, battle-tested, wartime workhorses: we're talking about two venerable Detroit Diesel engines. Introduced in 1938, this engine model brought an end to World War Two. As on the 6th of June, 1944 — D-Day — it powered almost every landing craft to bring soldiers to the beaches of Normandy. For this reason, these engines were designed with muscle in every component.
Not only will you find the twin Detroit 6-71’s here, but you will also find 2 new 20kw Northern Lights generators, water maker, inverter, air-conditioning units, refrigerator and freezer compressors, as well as other mechanical items.
