Despite being built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Monte Fino, she has an unmistakable Italian profile. She combines sharp lines, curves, steeply raked bridge, and large tear-shaped salon windows. At 79.99ft (24.38m) long, and 20.01ft (6.1m) wide, and 4.30ft (1.31m) in draft, YACHT LADY is unusually spacious. Due to her wide-body (full-beam) design, YACHT LADY foregos amidship side-decks for an extra-wide salon and flybridge.

All in all, judging her by well-kept teak, updated interior, and her modern, Italian-looking profile, most would never guess that she was built in 1999 — as she looks quite contemporary. She most definitely is a timeless yacht, as she has gracefully stood the test of time.

YACHT LADY is accessed from the wide teak swim platform (which doubles as a tender dock), up the portside staircase, which lands on the large, generously shaded teak stern lounge. This large aft lounge area features a varnished built-in-table with seating for ten (the aft bench fabric was updated in 2018). In addition, two loungers are set within the starboard and aft corners. What's more, there's much room for additional loose chairs for more guests.  A Jenn-Aire propane BBQ serves guests niceley.

Flanking the salon's sliding glass panels are a flybridge staircase to port and a wet bar to starboard. Nearly the entire area is sheltered by the fly-bridge overhang. Allowing you and your guests to dine, socialize, and relax outdoors while seeking respite from the blazing sun or rain. This large stern lounge is a prelude to the equally large and remarkable interior behind the sliding stainless-steel glass-doors. Sliding back, the doors open to reveal the wide-body salon that is in itself a piece of art. And this work of art runs the entire length of the superstructure.

Typically, many get into yachting to travel, explore, and to cruise to destinations. Having said that, it's no exaggeration to say that YACHT LADY's salon is a destination in itself.

Monte Fino yachts are noted for their much larger interior volume than other boats of a similar size, offering a surprising and often unrivaled level of spaciousness. Space which is filled with a fine blend of curves, colors, and cherrywood. The cream and coffee colored leather couches are curved. The 3-tiered cascading ceiling with its sculptured soffits are curved and accented by a curved patterns. The coffee tables, bar and bulkheads are curved too. Sensuous curves and flowing forms are beautifully incorporated into many aspects of her interior design.

Everywhere you look is the warm glow of cherrywood. This cherrywood glow combines with a cascading white ceiling, which suggests the white blossoms of cherry trees or tranquil clouds. And as for the carpet, with its rippled pattern, it seems to flow like a running stream beneath your feet. The overall effect? YACHT LADY'S invitingly warm while being a visual treat for the eyes.

Set within her becalming atmosphere, are three settees (to port and aft) set around two glass coffee tables. Together, a dozen of you and your guests can relax, unwind, and socialize within her welcoming presence. The largest L-shaped settee (to port) faces a home theater-style entertainment system. There is a dining area for 6 and country-galley with bar, forward to port. The area was re-carpeted and re-upholstered 2018.

Set directly behind the helm station (to port) is the country-galley for family and friends to congregate before meals. The galley also strikes a balance between privacy while maintaining the vastness of the wide-body salon. As it creates a semi-private barrier between the helm and the port-side salon while allowing forward visibility (to the starboard side). Composed of copious amounts of cherry wood and dark marble tiles. 

Here you will find an array of GE-appliances, which include a full-sized, double-door refrigerator/freezer and a flush-mounted, four-burner cooktop with stainless steel oven underneath. Moreover, other appliances include a microwave (with exhaust fan), dishwasher, two basin stainless steel sink, garbage disposal, and ice maker. As well, there are numerous cabinets which ensure there’s a place for everything. And there’s ample granite countertop space for creating meals or plating dishes. 

The curved, cherry wood bar is arranged for convenience, as cold drinks and appetizers are practically at your arm’s reach when enjoying the salon's comforts or when dining at the dining table for 6.

Forward and up a step from the salon, is the slightly raised and semi-private pilothouse equipped with two black leather pilot chairs and a cozy helm-station lounge. From the seating position, the helmsman has an excellent view forward and to the sides, making this the ideal all-weather steering station.

As for the comprehensively equipped dash, it includes a full array of recently upgraded navigation and communication electronics. To name a few, the dash contains a new dual SIMRAD GPS displays, Raytheon Raychart monitor with JRC GPS differential receiver, and much more, all flush-mounted in an over-sized dashboard along with the engine instruments.

Also worth noting are the controls for the Naiad stabilizers for eliminating boat roll and wave forces to keep you and your guests at ease as you are underway. As well, the stabilizer system increases fuel efficiency during long cruises (as they keep the yacht on a nearly straight course).

Powering YACHT LADY is a pair of Detroit Diesel engines 12V92TA with a combined two-thousand-two-hundred horses of power. The lounge provides a wonderful area for up to 4 guests and family to gather. She makes for an ideal place to watch the world roll by as you are underway. To starboard and port are twin pantograph doors which provide immediate access to the bow area of the yacht.

Set directly behind the pilothouse, to starboard, is another piece of artwork in the form of a curved staircase. Now, according to myth, fairy tales and dreams, stairs descend into realms of mystery, magic, and treasure. In this case, this sweeping staircase of cherrywood descends into a palatial “treasure” below decks: the full-beam master stateroom. Here you can sense the touch of the Far East. All the curves, colors, and cherrywood from the salon continue into the master stateroom which spans the full 20ft beam.

Set within an abundance of glass-smooth cheery woodwork is a centerline island, king-sized berth with twin nightstands, a vanity to port, and large hanging lockers to starboard. The stylish king-size bed has a padded headboard flanked by two glass mirrors which expand the apparent size of the room. Details include a plush carpet, desk, walk-in closet, entertainment center, love-seat to port, pop-up vanity station, doors made of solid wood, hull-side windows and a Samsung 40-inch LED HD TV, and of course, copious amounts of hand-crafted cherrywood cabinets.

Increasing the wow-factor of the stateroom is the palatial ensuite head: with separate stall shower, Jacuzzi tub, granite bulkheads, marble countertops, and a sink which (like the staircase) is a fine piece of cherrywod craftmanship. Bottom-line: this palatial treasure infused with a Far East feel is a haven of stillness. Respite from the world. A cozy, comfortable, stateroom cabin for you and your spouse.

As you make your way forward from the master stateroom, the interior design from salon continues on. To port is the first of 3 guest cabins. This cabin contains two single berths, and ensuite head and shower (to aft) where marble tiles and cherry wood abounds. Twin portholes bring in light and the berths' headboard mounted mirrors reflect it (which makes the room seem longer). There's ample storage and, of course, an entertainment centre.

Examples of Monte Fino's masterful craftsmanship are found in all areas. For example: the air conditioning vents are painstakingly carved from wood to match the interior, a feature usually found only on superyachts. As you more forward below deck, there is a similarly arranged guest room to starboard. However, it differs in that it contains a queen berth. It too includes an ensuite head and shower (to fore), plenty of storage, and a dash of Far East flair.

Situated further forward, is the palatial VIP Stateroom which features a centerline island queen-size berth set on a raised, two-tiered floor. Curved bulkheads, a lounge chair, and copious amounts of hand-crafted cabinetry surround the queen. The ensuite is similar to the stateroom, less the jacuzzi/shower combo. She is a wonderful treasure for your most important of guests.

Now, if you are interested in chartering this boat, or having a crew onboard to treat you and your guests, you've got room for 3 crew members.

Situated all the way forward are the crew quarters (accessible outside, via the bow hatch with ladder access and steps). Such an arrangement retains the privacy of the guests from the crew. Found within the crew quarters are double stacked bunks with a private head, shower and entertainment system. Surprisingly, the cherrywood theme carriers on into this cabin. Providing your crew with a touch of luxury, too. Because of this, this room could possibly function as a sort of make-shift guest room for a teenager (if all other rooms are full).

As for the captain, he can access his quarters from the aft, through the swim platform's transom door. Typically, crew quarters are a mere afterthought. However, in this case, it is surprisingly nice. Like the yacht itself, it contains an ample amount of cherrywood, tons of storage (beneath the berth), a floor to ceiling hanging locker, and an ensuite head with shower. Nearby, there's the the crew refrigerator and GE stacked washer/dryer and day head. If you choose to helm the yacht on your own, this room could be repurposed as a spare guest room under circumstances when you have invited all your friends and family.

Just beyond the captains quarters, is the engine room containing two engines with an iconic history worth noting here. Especially if reliability and dependability at sea matter to you, then rest assured, you can have full-faith in these engines. Let me explain.

You see, inside the engine room sits two 12-cylinder, battle-tested, wartime workhorses: we're talking two venerable Detroit Diesel engines. Introduced in 1938, this engine model brought an end to World War Two. As on D-Day, June 6th 1944, it powered almost every landing craft to bring soldiers to the beaches of Normandy. For this reason, these engines were designed with muscle in every component.

At 1,100 horses each, the combined combined 2,200 horses bring YACHT LADY up to a top speed of 18 knots, and she comfortably cruises at 16 knots. She can carry around 12,112 of diesel on-board in her fuel tanks. What's more, these engines were serviced within the last 50 hours.

To reduce the sound of these mighty engines while running, many steps were taken. First, double sound insulation was put into the forward bulkhead. Second, the engines exhaust under water. Third, the full-beam master suite amidship is separated from the engine room by the large ensuite head. The result? You can have a normal conversation inside the yacht without the need to raise your voice.

Now, as for the engine room itself, it was obviously designed to make maintenance easy and safe. Railings surround the engines to prevent accidental falls onto the hot blocks. Furthermore, it could be said that the engine room is a repairman's fondest dream. Because YACHT LADY has been fully spec'd for the American market. This means a repairman can walk into any marine hardware store in America and buy spare parts.

Two things come to mind when you ascend the cockpit staircase to the flybridge: it's unusually OPEN and it's W-I-D-E . Here you see how the wide-body really pays off. Beyond this, because the flybridge superstructure is swept back, and there is no fiberglass hard-top, you get a grand view. An uninterpreted view for watching the setting sun and the stars above. Bimini rails do exist if you prefer to shade. 

And as for the lounge area, it's decked out with twin L-shaped settees with seating for 10 with built in high-low, fiberglass tables, wet bar and Jenn-Aire barbecue. There is plenty of extra room for loose furniture so you can easily accommodate more guests. Moreover, there's also plenty of storage throughout for whatever you may need to spend an afternoon on the fly.

To the aft, there is a boatdeck wide enough to carry a 16ft Nautica tender launched via a low-profile Quick Lift davit. This additional aft space on the flybridge will allow you to carry additional water toys (paddleboards, kayaks, whatever you desire to for more fun on the water). As for the fly-bridge helm, it is set to centerline with two chairs: a captain's chair (to centerline), and a passenger chair to starboard.
