Peregrina is a three-cabin layout. There is extensive teak woodwork throughout the interior.
The aft cabin features queen spring marine mattress which is thick and super comfortable. Two adjustable reading lights bracket the pillows allowing individual night reading. At the end of the bed and across the walkway is an extra large mirror with a vanity table and swing seat. The aft cabin has enormous storage, all with teak louvered doors allowing air to circulate inside the compartments. There is a hanging locker with additional storage compartments.
The aft head is accessed through a door which closes off the head from the aft cabin. Inside, there is an electric head, a basin with mirror and ample storage for all your toiletries. From this room, you step into a full-size stand-up separate shower stall with a teak seat if you want to sit down while showering. The shower also has a large storage closet.
The galley has a freezer, refrigerator, gimballed stove, deep double sink and a Samsung microwave with ceramic interior that will not rust. There is hot and cold fresh water and also a salt water faucet for extended offshore passages. The refrigeration is a 12-volt cold plate. The galley comes equipped with pots, pans, plates, glasses, silverware etc. There is lots of food storage in the galley and main salon for long cruises.
The main salon has a large dining table to port and a seven foot long starboard settee (with lee cloths for passage). This settee can be pulled out to make a large, comfortable berth.
Behind a sliding panel in the main salon is a TV which can be pulled out on a swivel and angled to face the main salon dining table.
The chart table is the command center for the Captain. It is enormous in size and contains a comfortable, cushioned swivel chair with a high padded back. The table is surrounded by lots of storage, within hand reach, for any need. At this station, is the primary chart plotter, VHF, SSB, Pactor Modem, stereo radio, the 12V and 120V electric panel, etc. Also at this station is a separate repeat reader for depth, wind speed, boat speed, etc.
The forward berth is a large, double bed with lee cloths. There are two reading lights on either side of the bed and lots of storage for clothes, books, etc. Under this bunk are huge storage bins which contain a back-up 65 pound spade anchor, sail, long wooden fender boards for docking against pilings, parts storage, back-up monitor self-steering wind vanes, hoses, shore cords, etc. etc.
There is a forward head with a manual Raritan toilet. Next to this is a separate shower which can be accessed through the head or through a separate door from the passageway. The shower has been converted to a storage facility with racks but could be easily returned to a working shower.
In the forepeak, is a work bench and tool area with lots of storage. Since the boat is a world cruiser, this section is filled with tools and spare parts too numerous to mention.
Forward of the work bench is a sail locker which is large and very deep. Currently, there is extra running rigging for almost every line on the boat stored here. Under the sail locker is the back-up anchor rode with 40 feet of chain and 260 of rode. This comes up to the foredeck through a hawser pipe.
Forward of the sail locker is the main chain locker which contains the primary 300-foot long anchor chain and the electric motor for the windlass.
